Free photo series usually start with an idea, followed by a concept and elaborate preparation and realization. But sometimes they come to you within a morning and are so fleeting that you don't have much time for preparation. The fog on this extraordinary winter's day was unique in its density and its interplay with the naturally filtered light. It changed the entire lake landscape in a way that I have not been able to experience and photographically preserve since.
