New glamor and fresh plaster for one of Berlin's oldest cinemas. The building, located in the district of Neukölln, was partially restored according to the specifications of Batek Architekten. The two halls in the basement of the building and the foyer were redesigned in keeping with the building's listed status. Elements such as the familiar arched windows and parts of the original Corten steel-clad bar were integrated into the new concept. The two halls each feature a new color concept and modern, appropriately selected rows of seats. I had the pleasure of photographically documenting the new rooms, which are now in use, with interior shots for the Yorck cinema group.
