With over 50 institutes, SAE Institute is the world's largest private educational institution for professions in the creative and media industry. The historic Cuvryspeicher in Kreuzberg, directly on the Spree, was completely gutted and converted for the Berlin SAE Institute.
The high-quality lighting solution comes from the lighting manufacturer LTS Licht & Leuchten GmbH from Tettnang on Lake Constance, which has been one of the most innovative developers and manufacturers of high-quality lighting solutions since it was founded around 30 years ago.
Luminaires from the light channel product family were used in the pendant version. The geometric diversity of the light channel offered unique design freedom, allowing project-specific special shapes to be realized.
I was commissioned by LTS to take interior photos of the installed light channels, their lighting effect in the rooms and some detailed shots.
